Hotel Kalpana Veg Restaurant

Very bad experience with Special thali, costing 325 but only 1 paneer dish that too with very very tiny pieces that to few only. Baaki all other dishes very bad no taste, all looked same and tasted same too. Than comes the fruit salad turn, and i could see only few fruits and that too dry with no custard Or cream. So disappointing.

Refer order number: 678, dt: 20/11/2023 Items ordered: Paneer Kadai, Vegetable Kolhapuri, Hara-Bhara Kabab, Dahi Bara, Missi Roti, Bajra Roti, Tandoori Roti Complaining: Hara-Bhara Kabab not delivered but charged! Person in Kalpana spoke v rudely & disconnected when called up to enquire. Paneer Kadai was horribly made. Only few v v small paneer pieces sprinkled in a gravy that was v oily with chillies hot gravy that almost immediately upset the stomach. Vegetable Kolhapuri was worse with v small pieces of cauliflower, some shavings of paneer in a lot of some red oil that was hot with chillies! Could not eat as found the taste horrible. All the rotis mentioned were just ok. Dahi bara was sweet without tamrind chutney & seemed bad in taste. Will never order again 👎

Small restaurant which accompanies a local bar, though they have kept the sitting arrangements separate completely. Food is tasty both veg n non-vegetarian. Paneer teeka masala was yummy. I have tried surmai thaali, kaleji thaali in very reasonable rates, actually below Rs. 200/-. And how to forget bombil fry....it was so crispy. On outer appearance one may not have good reviews about it. Experience says it all.
